The South Central Society for Music Theory held its 2022 regional conference in a hybrid format with the option for both virtual and in-person presentations. The in-person meeting was hosted by the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music, University of Memphis on April 1–2, 2022; the virtual sessions were held on days surrounding this in late March/early April. Memphis, Tennessee is home to a vibrant music scene and is within a 6-hour drive of many southern and midwestern universities.
